With almost 5 hectares of idyll, incomparable lake views, jetties and various buildings, Fredriksborg can be the perfect place for celebrations. For weddings, larger parties and corporate events, the entire place can be booked. For smaller events, you can book a chambre separée, the orangery, or for larger events, there is our wedding and event tent.

Over the years, we have carried out around 80 weddings and countless events, corporate or private parties. We are small enough to be responsive and flexible, but large enough to handle the event professionally.

The fortress has the possibility of 150 seats.

Below you will find some of the places that can be arranged weddings and parties with us. But with close to 5 hectares of land, there are several other possibilities as well, we are happy to give tips on our little nuggets for memorable moments.

Fredriksborg Fortress (open 1 May – 30 Sep) can be used for events, parties, exhibitions, music, film, photography and much, much more.

Corps de Garde, i.e. the large cannon bridge can accommodate 100+ people at e.g. weddings or mingle. Its guard cabin has a kitchen, 3phase electricity and Wifi. This or the guest jetty next door can accommodate larger boats.

Next to the hotel is the outdoor terrace, the orangery with bar, music system and fireplace for dinner or party. The outdoor terrace has about 70 seats as standard, but can accommodate more and the orangery has about 45-50. At weddings, a maximum of 44 people are recommended in the orangery.

The wedding tent on the other side of the hotel is 150 sqm and can accommodate about 120 seated with round tables and up to 150 at long tables. The long sides are partially transparent and can be opened towards sunset. Wooden decking and fabrics in the ceiling give a cozy feeling and gas heaters are available if needed in early spring or late autumn. 3-phase electricity is available for music and projector, screen, speakers and wireless microphone are available.

The fortress observation tower 60 metres above sea level can also be used for smaller groups. An absolutely fantastic "venue" with unbeatable views.
