With areas of almost 5 hectares, Fredriksborg Fortress's 1000 sqm with basement, cannon pitch and observation tower, event tent for about 140 people with long tables, orangery, outdoor terrace, jetties etc., there are great opportunities for professional events.
Event tent with wooden floor of 10 x 15 m with fabric against walls and ceiling, chandelier and loops. Transparent opening sides facing the sunset in the Trälhavet in the north. Fan heaters, gas heaters and blankets are available for early spring or late autumn. Accommodates 100-120 people with round tables and about 140 guests with straight long tables. Screen, projector, wireless mic and speakers on a stand are included.
The orangery has several heat sources, a working fireplace and gas heater for the winter, and skylights, 3 pairs of doors and ceiling fans for the summer.
Sound system, bar counter and coolers as well as 3phase electricity for DJ sound & light. Soundproofing glass walls. Approx. 70sqm and can accommodate up to 52 dining guests or +50% standing at dancing or mingling
The Hårleman Room serves as a conference room or dining room for up to 30 diners and the Corner Room Salen likewise serves up to 20 diners.
A small lounge area is available with the reception/hotel bar close by as well as the kitchen.
The Corps de Garde jetty with the guard cabin has a kitchenette with 3-phase electricity and under planning also a WC to serve as a kitchen at events or conferences. The arched bridge can be approached by ships that take about 200 passengers, and the bridge can accommodate about the same number depending on use.
The jetty is reached from above by car for transport up/down. Docking with recreational or medium-sized boats is done at the guest pier just north of Corps De Garde.
In the fortress there are many possibilities. Everything from concerts, to art exhibitions to blind date events is excellent to have in the fortress. Only the imagination sets the limits.
